Alex’s Story
Alex Zabaski was born in Nashville, TN where he lived before moving to Scottsdale, AZ for high school and college at ASU. After earning his degree in Business, he worked in the transportation industry where he spent countless hours playing and honing his foosball skills. From there he moved onto financial services at various firms where he developed an affinity for insurance. Coming full circle, he moved back to Nashville in 2018 where he met Nicole.
Nicole’s Story
Nicole Buck was born in Long Beach, CA and grew up in Irvine, CA. Nicole was always involved in sports and was a competitive swimmer from the time she could walk until after college. She attended UC Irvine and graduated, by some miracle, with a degree in Computer Science. Deciding she had enough of California and wanting her next adventure, Nicole decided to accept a job and move to Nashville in 2017 where she met Alex.
Their Story
Alex and Nicole met in 2019 at bar in Nashville, TN. The first thing Alex asked Nicole was to give him a compliment, to which Nicole replied, “You have nice skin”. Apparently that was good enough for Alex because he asked her to dance. Nicole was a little clumsy, as she didn’t really know how to dance the 2-step, but they still had fun. They went on their first date the following week and that was it. COVID hit and next thing they knew they were moving in together. From there they moved to Scottsdale, decided it was too dang hot and moved to Dallas where they currently live with their dog Grace.
